Uncle Sam Disappointed, Not Angry After Seeing America's Infrastructure Report Card
The American Society of Civil Engineers has given America a D+ on its latest Infrastructure Report Card. Every four years, the ASCE examines current infrastructure conditions and needs, and issues a report card assigning grades to 16 categories including roads, schools, energy, and public parks. This is the second D+ America has received, getting the same poor marks in 2013. Uncle Sam was not too pleased to hear about America's near failing Infrastructure grades.
"I'm disappointed, not angry with America." Uncle Sam said, shaking his head. "When you repeatedly get D's, something needs to change. America needs to make some improvements, especially if they want to get into that top Infrastructure school." When asked what specific changes America should make, Uncle Sam responded, "America is distracted. It needs to get back to what's important to the goals and future of the country, and I think they should really ditch that Trump guy. I know they haven't been friends very long, but he's a bad influence. Just a few months ago, America dropped out of the Paris Climate Deal. America loves the environment. I don't even recognize this country anymore."
